Fayette County Schools will hold its Annual Science and Engineering Fair on Tuesday, January 15, 2019. Science and engineering fair projects from all of our middle and high schools will be displayed at the LaFayette Educational Center (“D” Building) for judging. The day will conclude with an awards program in Sams Auditorium at 6:00 p.m. You are invited to serve as a judge and mentor for the fair, on January 15, from 9:30 AM – 1:40 PM.
As a supporter of science education, you understand the importance of scientific investigations/engineering processes, and the challenges students face to complete a quality product. The major goals of the system level fair are to recognize outstanding student achievement; and also, select those top projects which will compete at the Regional Science and Engineering Fair at Griffin RESA.
The judging schedule for Tuesday, January 15, 2019, is as follows:
9:00 am Breakfast Provided
9:30 am Judges Orientation
10:00 am Judging Begins
11:00 am Lunch Provided
12:00 pm Student Interviews
1:40 pm Results Finalized
