The proceeds benefitting Fayette C.A.R.E. Clinic (FCC) will provide free healthcare to uninsured, lower-income adults in Fayette County. Each year, FCC provides more than $2.5 million in healthcare services for Fayette County residents. The ROI is $1 donated to $5 in healthcare services provided. Last year, more than $35,000 was raised from Mahaffey Orthodontics Open Wide Open and used to provide $175,000 in patient services. Over the past 14 years, these free services offered have grown from primary care to include dental, vision, cardiology, podiatry, gynecology, chiropractic, behavioral health, dermatology, physical therapy, gastroenterology, and non-narcotic prescriptions. Fayette C.A.R.E. clinic is now a medical home to more than 850 patients providing nearly 3,000 patient visits per year.
The vast majority of FFC patients are working people with lower incomes that are usually temporarily without insurance coverage. These patients are your neighbors that are struggling to find quality healthcare that they vitally need. Fayette C.A.R.E. Clinic provides access to a free medical home and the care they need reducing potential health crises for these patients now, and into the future. Many of their patients regain their health and can once again gain employment and access to insurance for healthcare, but as life changes for them it changes for others, and a new patient enters their doors.
Help us help our neighbors, while having a fun-filled day of golf.
